Project Summary
The new Beijing Future Architecture Innovation Center occupies a stretegic role within a larger new development. As a "Living Office" the building invites the surrounding community via a large, multi-floor open atrium for events and exhibitions as well as multiple amentiies and public facilities on the lower floors.
In an innovative design process, AI-driven parametric design methods were used for an early stage optimization of energy demand and CO2 footprint. Emerging technologies include a bi-directional charging and automated EV / parking facility, hands-free bicycle storage and maximized use of PV.
Engaging the community with a state-of-the-art showcase in highly convenient and comfortable, light and natural office environments, socially inclusive work spaces, formal and informal meeting areas as well as a dedicated biodiversity strategy, the development will be one of China's first DGNB Platinum projects.
