Project Summary
 
CBM is an innovation driver being the first Chinese supplier of life-saving ECMO equipment and a fast-growing provider of medical supplies.
 
Following the same dedication that goes into their products, CBM wanted to create an integrative, healthy and highly innovative headquarter as a "Vertical Factory".
 
The project uses the "DGNB Flex" as an easy way to combine different functions and respective requirements such as production, clean rooms, R&D, office as well as showrooms and social areas. Key points of the sustainability startegy are: 
 
a high flexibility and interchangeability between production and office floors
a very attractive, highly functional and immersive work environment 
a strong sense of shared vision by creating visual connections between different departments
an optimized HVAC system to dramatically reduce operation costs (now and in future use scenarios)
an optimized CO2 Footprint due to low carbon building operation
a work environment which actively promotes health, social and physical well-being 
a very convenient location with easy access to transport and daily-use amenities
